Healthcare Policy Analyst

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with an interest in technical document analysis, database maintenance, and writing to join both our Vancouver and Bellingham office in the role of Healthcare Policy Analyst. This is an opportunity to influence strategic decision making among our clients, which include start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.
Synthesize relevant policy information from complex Healthcare-related documents into a customized client report that summarizes valuable findings
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
Obtain a deep understanding of the US healthcare landscape
Perform routine maintenance on an existing database of medical policy information, gaining relevant industry expertise
Conduct Quality Control checks on your own work, as well as the work of colleagues, if required
Evaluate current content & processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement
Provide support and guidance to new hires, participating in the mentorship program when requested
At least a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (eg: life sciences, social sciences, economics)
Experience with synthesizing and summarizing complex technical information
Ability to communicate complex subjects and ideas clearly
1-3 Years' experience in similar roles an asset
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as our projects are often worked on by multiple members of the team
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus
Expert English language skills (both written and verbal). A significant part of the job requires reading, understanding, and creating technical documents
Intimate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications an asset
