Healthcare Policy Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in technical document analysis, database maintenance, and writing to join our Vancouver office in the role of Policy Analyst. This is an opportunity to influence strategic decision making among our clients, which include start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and communicate information from complex healthcare-related documents

  • Maintain an existing database of medical information, gaining relevant industry expertise

  • Conduct online research

  • Complete computer tasks, including modifying files

  • Perform other administrative and research tasks as required

  • Assist in training new hires

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (eg: life sciences, social sciences, economics)

  • Experience with research and/or synthesizing and summarizing complex technical information

  • 1-5 Years' experience in similar roles an asset

  • Ability to communicate complex subjects and ideas clearly

  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus

  • Expert English language skills (both written and verbal). A significant part of the job requires reading, understanding, and creating sophisticated documents

  • Writing and/or editorial experience in an academic or professional setting

  • Intimate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications an asset

Location: Downtown Vancouver

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Salary: Commensurate with relevant education and experience
